Isara vs Tethr (now Capacity): self-serve intelligence vs an enterprise CX platform

Searching for Tethr? The product has changed hands twice: Tethr merged with Awaken Intelligence in 2024 to form Creovai, and Capacity acquired Creovai in October 2025 — tethr.com now redirects to Capacity. Capacity is a unified CX automation platform: AI agents, real-time agent assist and auto-QA for contact centres, sold annually through a sales process. Isara is an independent conversation intelligence layer — per conversation, unlimited users, $49 to start, live the same day. Which you need depends on whether you’re buying a platform or a lens.

Pricing: published rates vs annual contracts on request

Capacity does not publish prices. Its pricing page describes three platform tiers on an annual subscription, with usage-based pricing for its AI agents (per response, per minute, per message) — but no figures; the call to action is “talk to us”. Tethr’s original pricing is no longer published anywhere on the vendor’s site.

Isara publishes everything. A team handling 10,000 conversations a month pays $634.50 on Isara Growth ($99 base + 8,500 × $0.063, first 1,500 included). Unlimited users on every plan, a monthly budget cap you control, a 30-day free trial with no credit card, and monthly billing you can change or cancel any time.

Where Capacity is the better choice

If you run a voice-heavy contact centre and want one platform to automate it — AI agents answering calls, real-time guidance whispering to human agents mid-conversation, post-call workflows and outbound campaigns — Capacity is built as exactly that platform, with deep CCaaS integrations (Genesys, Five9, NICE, RingCentral) that Isara doesn’t have. Real-time agent assist in particular is a genuinely different capability from after-the-fact analysis. Enterprises consolidating several point solutions into one CX automation vendor will find more surface area at Capacity.

Where Isara is different

A lens, not a platform. Isara doesn’t want to run your contact centre — it verifies what happened in it. It reads 100% of conversations, human and AI, and surfaces churn risk with revenue attached, compliance exposure, predicted CSAT and agent performance. That independence matters most where AI agents now answer in your name: the vendor selling you the AI shouldn’t be the only one grading it.

Additive, not a migration. Isara is read-only. Nothing in your stack changes; there is no 30-day implementation, no annual commitment, and no procurement cycle to start.

Self-serve economics. $49/month to start, per conversation rather than per seat or per minute, unlimited users, monthly billing. A support lead can have real insights flowing the same afternoon they sign up — which is also the fastest possible way to find out whether this category is worth a bigger investment.

Running Isara alongside Capacity — or anything else

Because Isara is read-only and additive, it runs happily next to an incumbent during evaluation. Connect Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk or Gorgias with a sign-in, or bring voice transcripts through the voice integration and API, and compare what Isara surfaces against what your current tooling reports — on the same conversations, with nothing migrated and nothing at risk.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tethr still available?

Not under that name. Tethr merged with Awaken Intelligence in 2024 to form Creovai, and Capacity acquired Creovai in October 2025. tethr.com now redirects to Capacity, which sells the conversation-intelligence and auto-QA capabilities as part of its CX platform.

How much does Capacity cost?

Capacity doesn’t publish prices. It describes tiered annual subscriptions plus usage-based AI pricing, with a “talk to us” sales process. Isara publishes all pricing, starting at $49/month with 1,500 conversations included.

Does Isara handle voice conversations?

Yes — Isara has a voice integration alongside Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Slack, Jira and an API.

Does Isara replace Capacity?

They solve different problems. Capacity automates contact-centre work (AI agents, agent assist); Isara independently analyses 100% of conversations for churn, compliance, CSAT and agent performance. Isara is read-only, so it can run alongside any platform during evaluation.

How long does Isara take to set up?
